Hello,I have this FINE PAIR of PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN CEREMONIAL DANCE PADDLES up for sale in very good condition. These Dance Paddles were recently purchased from an antique dealer who closed his business to spend more time with his family. I was told at the time of purchase that they had come from Neah Bay's Makah Tribe, but I cannot verify that information or the date in which these were made or the carver's name. I think they're the most beautiful Ceremonial Dance Paddles I've ever seen and if they don't sell I will not be sorry. These two paddles measure 36" tall x 5.5" wide at their widest point on the paddle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keywords: Makah Dance Paddles, Master Carver, Kwakiutl Carved Paddles, indigenous nation of the Pacific Northwest Coast, North America Native American Art, Haida territories, Haida Nation, Indian Tribes of the Northwest Coast, stylized art form, Northwest Coast Tribal Art, Western Red cedar, Yellow Cedar, Vancouver Island Natives, Washington Territory, indigenous nations, First Nations, Haida mythology, Haida myths, Haida Gwaii, Northwest coast of British Columbia, Queen Charlotte Islands, shaman's cerimonial paddles, chieftain paddle, ceremonial paddles, Native carving, Native American sculpture, mystical items, magical read more
