This is a case of not knowing anything about vintage pens, but I have faith that the photos will tell any collectors what I am listing. This is what I know, or think I know: I have found these two items together, and they match nicely, so I'm selling them as a pair. The fountain pen is a George S. Parker DuoFold mother of pearl circa early 1930s. I presume it could be called a "junior" at 4 1/2" long. It has 3 rings and on the pocket clip has Pat. Sep. 5 16. Parker. It has a flat top, a button filler, and the body says Geo. S. Parker DuoFold Made in U.S.A. Patented. The nib says Parker U.S.A. and has the arrow. I cannot define a marking on the mechanical pencil, but finding them together and seeing how well they match, I presume this is also a Parker. It is purse or vest sized at 3 1/8". These have both been used and do have some use scratches, but the mother-of-pearl is still really beautiful. The pen has a "B" scratched on the flat top end. Both of these have been in our storage for years and years, so I presume at least the pen will need servicing. The mechanical pencil shows wear on the gold turning end and may be missing a ring around the middle...not sure. It's probably missing a little ring in the top to hang a chain from.
