For Sale Are a Fine Pair of John Ridgway Brown Transferware Platters Decorated in the Regina Pattern Featuring Peacocks, Butterflies and Dating c1837.The Platters are in Gently Scalloped Form and Measure 9.45 inches by 8.2 by 1 inch.Features a Wide Creeping Floral Border.The Pattern is Named 'REGINA' which is Latin for Queen and Probably Celebrates The Start of Queen Victoria's Reign in 1837.Pic 12 shows an old shallow chip but apart from a little colour under the glaze on the base, this Rare Pair of Old Ridgway Platters are Being Sold in Good Condition with no cracks or hairlines, scratches, repairs or restoration.Pair Display Really Well.Both Platters Clearly Marked 'Stone Ware J.R REGINA' on a Belted and Crowned Floral Cartouche.Any Questions please email.
