This is a really great old set. These chairs are both solid and sturdy. I can find no signs of damage or previous repairs. Neither has the slightest bit of looseness or wobble. They are each very comfortable and have a great look and shape with thick tiger oak stock. The finish is a little dingy and could use a good scrubbing to bring it back to life. These chairs have a ton of potential. Made by Brooklyn Chair Co and marked. This is a very nice early set. Each chair measuring 34 1/2" tall at the back, 18" tall at the seat, 21" wide and 19 1/2" deep. This is the set of two oak chairs. This is a closer view of one chair. This is a seat back. You can see that tiger oak crying to get seen. This is a seat with raised center and very comfortable. This is another view of the seat shape and great thick legs with curved stretchers. This is a sticker on the underside of one chair "Brooklyn Chair Co" SHIPPING INFORMATION This *oak chair set* is being safely stored in our 15,000 sq ft warehouse pictured below and located in Bel Air, MD 21015. Only 3 miles and 2 turns from I-95 exit 80 just north of Baltimore. The warehouse is always full but changing. Trucks come and go daily with new stuff coming in and sold stuff leaving for delivery. Only about 200 pc's per month on average are sold on the Internet. The rest goes to auction. We can store this *oak chair set* in our warehouse free of charge for up to a couple months if needed. We can deliver it ourselves between about Philadelphia and DC for around $50-100. Closer distances may be cheaper but $50 is about the best were going to do anyw unless you live right in our town which is free. If you prefer to pick it up, that is fine. We are available 24/7 with 24 hours notice via email. If you have a shipping service you use we are happy to coordinate with them but the expense is yours. We do not provide ropes, blankets or any sort of packing. If you need help getting these oak chairs shipped we have sources we deal with regularly. I can have this chair set professionally delivered to most large cities in the US including the west coast for $250 or less. East Coast shipping is much cheaper. Usually $50-150 max. We have trucks running from Florida to NYC regularly so deliveries within 50-100 miles of the I-95 corridor are fastest and cheap. Deliveries along the 64, 81, 20, 70 and 40 corridors are also cheap all the way to the west coast. One of our drivers lives in NYC, one lives in Roanoke, VA and one lives in Chicago. They each come weekly. Because of that we can provide the cheapest and fastest shipping along the whole east half of the country. We do the west coast within 6 weeks. We pretty much go anyw cheap but our shippers don't go to the west coast much north of CA. If you live in some off the wall town that is an hour from the nearest highway obviously it will cost a little more. Please ask me for a fast guaranteed quote if you are in doubt. I do not have any trucks heading to Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, The Dakotas or Nebraska. You will have to make your own arrangements to those areas. I want to stress, we will help and usually handle the entire process but all arrangements and costs are still the buyers responsibility.
