This is a wonderful High Quality pair of Antique Nippon candlesticks. Each measures 9 inches tall and the bases are each 4 1/4 inches square. The hand painting on these candlesticks is very beautiful and truly of the highest quality. The one stick is in near mint condition with no chips or cracks, just a little wear to the gold at the bottom. The other stick has a corner that was chipped with the chip being glued back on. This stick also appears to have had some gold reapplied. This chip is small and was reattached fairly well making it not very noticable. In my pictures the color looks sky blue, it is very close, but the true color is just a little bit greener. This is a great early pair of NIPPON Candlesticks!
