Up for auction are a mirror pair of Japanese cloisonne pale yellow vases. The design is done in silver wire. The left one has some stress lines on the neck of the vase and some lines on the flower. It also has an area of damage on the side about a 1/2 inch wide. There are also dark stress lines around this area. There is a lot of pitting. It is a little over 9 1/2 inches tall. The left one also has some dark stress lines but not as many. The rims on this one are shiny! There is no areas of damage on this one. Although these look like they go together as a set, I think maybe they are not because this one is not done in silver wire but the other is! There are also other subtle differences - like details in the leaves, birds, and flowers. But I am selling as a set because they go well together! It is also 9 1/2 inches tall.
