We are selling a pair of sterling silver bolo tie tips that have been reclaimed from a bolo in a previous life/use. Although they are not marked, we are calling them sterling based on their look and feel. These tips look to be pretty old, but we did not do the reclaiming, so we don’t know how old they are. These tips have a zig-zag design around each of the shafts less than an inch from the crimp-ends. These tips are 2 ¼ inches long and are ¼ inch wide at the crimp-end. The ball on the end is not completely round. Instead it is sort-of flattened into a 10mm diameter shape with a small ball on the tip. They weigh approximately 4 grams. These tips have some use wear and definitely need to have the tarnish removed. However, they do not appear to be misshapen and are pretty straight. They are ready for a new home and a new use. Please see the photo for a good look, and feel free to ask if you have any questions before bidding. Thank you! Thank you for looking at our auction.
