Antique vases, no damage or other flaws found under close examinationPair of Weller Malverne Vases Two perfect Weller Pottery bud vases in the Malverne or Malvern pattern. The vases measure 8 1/4" tall and is 4 1/8" in diameter at its widest point. The opening is 2" wide inside measurement.These vases have raised or embossed leaves and a yellow bud on a twig or branch that swirl from the bottom of the piece up to about the neck. This was done on a Tree Bark textured background. The lower background has a Dark Chocolate Mottled background Glaze that blends into more of a caramel color towards the top. The top rim is accented with the Darker Brown to finish the look. The vases are in excellent Condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. Both are signed with an incised Weller Pottery and there is a letter "H" or "I" written in grease pencil on one vase. According the Weller Pottery website, these vases were made between 1927-1933. This is the real deal and a lovely addition to your collection.
