Mosseri & Co. in Egypt right in the Middle of the First World War! Only this one is All in Arabic!!! But Wait A Minute! You'll say: Didn't the Panama Canal Open in 1914 as the Result of American Know-How and Stick-to-it-ivity?! Well, Yes and No! Actually the Original Attempt was by the French back in the 19th Century . But that was a failure for a variety of reasons and under the Direction of President Teddy Roosevelt the Americans shouldered the Task to Build this Vital Link between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans - So necessary to Our Naval Forces! Yet even though the first ships passed through in 1914 - at the Outbreak of the War to End All Wars in Europe - the Canal was still plagued with problems. Even by the 1930s t was difficulty creating access to water supplies to keep the Canal working. And these efforts required Financial Support.
