PARKER DUOFOLD BLACK FOUNTAIN PEN AND PROPELLING PENCIL SET - 18KGOLD NIB AND ACCENT TRIM This auction is for a stunning Parker Duofold set comprising a Black Fountain Pen and a Black Propelling Pencil with gold trim accents. Both items were purchased in 1990 and are in hardly used condition. The history would seem to be that in 1988 Parker released their first Duofold since production previously stopped in the 1940’s. It was released as part of their 100th anniversary, called the Centennial model, and is made in England by Parker UK. Fountain Pen Features: · 18k Gold Nib marked Parker 18k 750 · Ink Piston but also accepts cartridges · Understood to be a Medium nib · Pocket Clip · Overall Length: c 13.5cm Propelling Pen Features: · Screw action mechanism (the lead is advanced or retracted by winding the gold top round) · Concealed Eraser · Pocket Clip · Overall Pencil Length: c 13.5cm We don't have the original box but the pens will be carefully packaged.
