The "cap" twists to propel and re-pell lead, pull off cap to findan place for an eraser. Engraved on barrel: "PARKETTE ZEPHYR MADE IN U.S.A. BY PARKER" Condition: Overall in good condition with minor use marks, minortarnish to metal, no eraser. We are not mechanical pencil expertsand we could NOT get the mechanism to move the lead.We cleaned and polished the pencil.
