Pathfinder Version 1 - Polish Bootleg - GI Joe Figure 1990? (Similarly made like the Star Wars Bootlegs) Historical Provenance: Hasbro licensed toy products to be made by other companies in many different countries around the world. However, Poland seemsed to be the main country in Europe that created bootlegs. These bootleg figures appears to be molded from actual GI Joe figures, and then the joints were re-designed to made it easier for production. Plus the company producing these figures seemed to be doing the very same thing with Star Wars figures from the 1980's. To this day, Polish bootlegs are very rare, and sought after by collectors. Simply run an ebay search "Star Wars Polish Bootleg" and you will find Star Wars bootleg figures made the very same way. These GI Joes are believed to have been made by the same company since many of the weapons were found inter-changed between the GI Joe and Star Wars toy brands. Star Wars bootlegs have been on ebay for many years. However, G.I. Joe bootlegs very rarely come up. Go ahead, search for them too. The ones I am selling are the one ones currently on ebay, and no others come up in the ebay history. These truely are rarer than thier Star Wars counterparts.
