FYI: Estate Fresh, we attended a nunber of 90+ year olds estate auctions this season and came home with these wonderful treasures. We have some Great deal for you. You can save on gas, have it shipped to your door. And w else, can you get more than a one liner for a description. Possibly more photos than you care to look at. Some, even being a puzzle, you have to figure it out. This might fit nicely into your collection or Decor. Such a Deal, Way too good to throw away and I hope this finds a good home. Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! 93 year old Estate Fresh. we have a WONDERFUL Sterling Silver, Tea Strainer Spoon, hinged pierced Pod holds tea for one cup. It has a unique three lobe pillow shape with hammered design with ribbon and flower decorated medallion on handle. Has NO monogram. It has the "P & B" in Hearts hallmark which I found that this mark was used by Paye & Baker Silversmiths of North Attleboro Mass from 1901-1960. They were known for the Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoons, Jewelry, Flatware and mesh bag, some enameling. It is not marked Sterling, but shows NO wear at all and has that bright sterling look and feel. This spoon being produced in the Arts & Crafts era, early 1900s. Looks to be in VERY, VERY GOOD condition for its age and possible use, has a lightly aged, matte patina. I see NO cracks, NO dents. Measures approx. 6" long, 5/8" x 1 1⁄2" x 2" across widest point of tea-pod. Looks Great, displays quite well and would be a GREAT addition to your collection.
