6 Pc. Vintage Italy Majolica Set Rose & Tulip "Maria" Platter & 5 Square Plates. Cake serving set with square plates and matching platter. These vintage Italian majolica pieces feature embossed hand painted roses and tulips in a colorful, cheerful floral motif. This listing is for 6 pieces Although very lovely, these pieces are not without their flaws. There are a few small flea bites to the paint along the rim (these are not very noticeable because of the way the border). There is some crazing on these items, as one would expect in vintage pottery and porcelain. The plates measure 8" each -- Platter 10.5" x 11.75" I absolutely love the Italian folk art of these vintage sets.
