GORGEOUS DECRETIVE CHRISTMAS MEDALLION BY TOWLE SILVERSMITH'S eleventh in a Limited Edition series of twelve . NEWBURYPORT, MASSACHUSETTS 1981 YEAR !!!!!!! VERY COLLECTIBLE! VERY RARE FIND! ORIGINAL BOX, FELT POUCH AND LEAFLET ALL IN GREAT SHAPE! TOWLE SILVERSMITH'S FOUNDED IN 1690; IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. TOWLE'S 1981 MEDALLION THE TOWLE 1981 Christmas Medallion is the eleventh in a very special series of twelve limited edition Christmas medallions based on the historic old Carol, " The Twelve Days of Christmas ." This year's medallion features the "Eleven Pipers Piping " on one side. The reverse was inspired by 17th Century Decorative Woodwork in the interior of the Chapel at Mapledurham House, Oxfordshire, England. These unique design elements make this medallion beautiful as a pendant or cherished Christmas Tree Ornament. MEDALLION IS STERLING SILVER, 16 GRAMS, approx. 2 1/2 INCHES LONG X approx. 2 1/4 INCHES WIDE W/"O" RING ATTACHED!! STAMPED W/FACTORY HALLMARKS!
