All items listed are Original and Genuine, as always! Unusual Portrait of Girl on Porcelain Glass inAntique Gesso Frame, circa 1860's. is another awesome piece from my collection! This period portrait of a young girl is applied to a porcelain glass material, which is very unique!! It is in perfect condition and I do not see any breaks and cracks. It is housed in a nice period 1860's oval gesso frame with an older gilt, not original . The frame's overall condition is great with a couple of flakes off the gesso and t The paper backing has NEVER been opened! Dated on the back label FEB 1868. Awesome and Unique 1860's Period Portrait! Complete with the OLD WAVY glass and wood backing! NOT A REPRODUCTION! Overall approx size 12" X 14", rabbet opening 8" X 10", oval opening 7 1/4" X 9 1/4".
