This pretty medium-sized glass millefiori paperweight was made by Perthshire Paperweights, Scotland. It is design number PP5 which was made from 1972 through 1995.It measures 2.5 inches diameter. A central cane is surrounded by a row of 7 canes which in turn is surrounded by 9 coloured twists each separating a panel of canes (in 1-1-2-3 cane arrangement) then surrounded by one further row. There is a "P" signature cane in outer row. The canes are set on transleucent red/purple ground. The base has been hollow polished. It is in very good condition - no chips, bruises.
