I have been collecting Yorktowne (Yorktown) dishes for 16 years and have decided to sell off some of the items I have acquired. This auction is for a wooden breadbox made by Pfaltzgraff in the Yorktowne pattern. It is 16" wide & 9 5/8" high and 9 1/2" deep. The wood is a natural stain and has a light satin finish. The door is slanted and has the Yorktowne design painted in the center. The bottom & back of the breadbox is made of thin particle board. The door is held on by two screws attached at the sides. This breadbox is in good condition and shows little use. It shows a few scratches and the door is on very securely. It is made out of 3/4" wide wood (I am not sure what kind of wood, but it looks similar to a chopping block) & is very sturdy and NOT rickety at all. It weighs almost 7 pounds. This will be a wonderful piece to add to your Yorktowne (yorktown) Pfaltzgraff collection & is practical too! Please check out my other items ! I will be listing additional items every few days. T will be a 10 day wait on personal checks before shipping. Please feel free to email any questions before bidding . I ship by UPS and they include insurance with shipment price.
