Photo homage, Aaron Siskind, Casa Grande, AZ, 4x6 Description: PHOTOGRAPHY HOMAGE Aaron Siskind (1903-1991) shot black and white abstract expressionist photos. I once attended a lecture of his at the University of Arizona Center For Creative Photography. Usually the photographers would show slides of their work. Siskind opted to show a 16mm film of his images. After a few moments the film broke. The lights came back on and he apologized for the interruption. After the fourth or fifth break, he vowed never to screen that print again. Not having any photos to reference, he took questions from the sparse audience. Only a few responded and the evening was a bust.
