PILGRIM, FENTON ART GLASS CRANBERRY VASE Description: This is a beautiful free form vase made in cranberry glass. The makers could possibly be Pilgrim Glass; Fenton Glass or Steuben Glass. The glass is high quality and is shaded from a deeper cranberry color at the rim to a lighter pink in the middle of the body. The vase looks like a hankerchief that has been laid over a cylider and is drapped, although upside down. The bottom has a fire polished pontil. The vase is 9-1/4" tall and 8" wide at the widest point of the rim. The base is 4" in diameter. Cranberry glass is made with gold ore to make it pink. This glass is beautiful with no bubbles or straw marks, cracks, chips or flakes. Reference#: GO25_7 Condition: EXCELLENT Year: 1960-80 Country: USA Maker: PILGRIM-FENTON-STEUBEN Height: 9.25 in.
