This is a cracking engine part from raf spitfire.This is a very recognisable part of the engine it is a pipe that sat on top of the intercooler it is part numbered down one side D22600 the pipe still has bolt holes in the base the pipe is 2 inches long the part has been very well cleaned and is a very collectable piece of battle of Britain history it comes with a A5 information sheet with the crash details and photos and is perfect for display or any collection.This pipe came from RAF spitfire work number P9364 flown by Sergeant E scott which was shot down and crashed at Hollingbourne in Kent during the Battle of Britain on the 27th September 1940 by German fighter ace Werner Molders.
