VINTAGE PLASTICVILLE AIRPORT HANGER BY BACHMANN BROTHERS CIRCA 1954 AP-1 - O Scale Plasticville/Bachmann Bros. Inc. Philadelphia, PA. Made in USA. Circa 1954. Blue and white with red plastic doors. Assembled building measures approx. 8-1/4” X 7-1/4” X 4-1/2”. This Plasticville kit was introduced in 1954 and, until only recently was never reproduced. This is an original (not a repro) AP-1 kit in an early box. Early versions of this kit came with no airplanes but after 1955, a pair of unusual looking jet airplanes were included in some Master Sets (including Hanger and Administration Building). This set has no airplanes but does includes the wind-sock. Kit is complete -nothing broken, NO missing pieces. Kit has never been glued. Original box in good condition. Includes wind sock. Comes with tissue paper attached to windows--easily removable but it produces a nice effect if you light up the bldg.
