American GirlFelicity’s Nightgown Shift, Cap & Mules Felicity’s night shift is edged with lace around its drawstring neck and sleeves. The matching lappet cap has long flaps, or “lappets,” that tie under her chin. To keep her feet warm on bare wood floors, felicity wore leather slippers called “mules.” Tagged “Pleasant Company, 1996”, with 2 tiny spots noted to nightgown (see photos). Original tag to mules missing, but doesn't affect function of mules at all; just pointing it out. Items come from a smoke-free, pet-free home in a climate-controlled environment.
