Polish Pottery 2 piece Potpourri Dish in traditional red/green Cherries pattern. Hand made by Ceramika Artystyczna in Boleslawiec , Poland . Bottom is stamped with manufacturers logo, artists initials "A.G." and the number "15". Quality Category 2 - hand wash. I have a piece just like this which is top rack dishwasher safe. Brand new - never used. Dish measures approximately 4 3/8 inches tall (4 7/8 with lid), 6 1/4 inches in diameter at top (3 1/2 inches in diameter at base.) Lid has 16 openings in concentric circular pattern - 10 openings on outer circle (3/8 inches diameter), 5 on inner circle (3/8 inches diameter) and 1 larger opening in center (3/4 inches diameter). This piece could also be used for other decorate purposes such as displaying hatpins or fondu sticks, or as a candy dish with out the lid.
