A wonderful book beautifully illustrated on almost every page. It is a 1978 first edition from the publishers Methuan Children's Books London. The first twenty one pages start telling the story 'In which Eeyore has a birthday and gets two presents' which is my favourite by the way! then the story continues along the pages of a birthday book with three wide lines for every single day of the year to record birth dates in. There is no writing at all inside, in fact it looks as though it's hardly ever been opened. There is a small, faint brown mark on a few of the early pages that just looks like a paper pulp mark that's happened during production and there are light scratches around the cover and reverse. Overall the condition is lovely and what a cracking little book! A must have for any collector or parent who wants to add something nice to their children's library!
