Great find, beautifully detailed, excellent starting price, this Pardon Crucifix was granted by his holiness Pope Pius X. The purpose of the pardon crucifix is to gain pardon of God and to pardon one's neighbor. This cross measures 2" tall and is in excellent condition! The front of the cross contains an inscription at the top of the cross "Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judorum" . The back of the cross has the Sacred Heart in the center with the following saying, " Father, forgive them." and "Behold this heart which has so loved men." The Sacred Heart is shown w the two arms of the Cross meet . Comes with a free pamphlet with a copy of the following explanation below. Check out my other items ! Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! ABOUT THE PARDON CRUCIFIX 1. Whoever carries on his person this crucifix, may gain an indulgence. 2. For devoutly kissing the Crucifix, an indulgence is gained. 3. Whoever says one of the following invocations before this crucifix may also gain an indulgence. "Our Father who art in heaven, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us". "I beg the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray to the Lord our God for me". 4. Whoever, habitually devout to this Crucifix, will fulfill the necessary conditions of Confession and Holy Communion, may gain a pleanary indulgence on the following feasts:
