2 Porcelain Platters: Copeland Spode "Chinese Rose" Blue, Lavender, Pink, GreenPresented is a pairing of two Copeland Spode porcelain platters in their "Chinese Rose" pattern. A central motif and garlands on the rim consist of blue, lavender and pink flowers with green leaves, and with other nice delicate borders. The platters are octagonal and are in two different sizes.Please scroll down to see our photographs.The platters are marked for "Copeland Late Spode" and "England" with the registered number 629599. They also have impressed marks. The "Chinese Rose" pattern was made from 1952 to 2006.The larger platter is in excellent condition and "rings" nicely. There are no chips, no cracks, and no problems of any kind.The smaller platter has some cracklature, most noticeable on the top surface as it has become discolored. This smaller platter has a hairline crack visible on the top and underside and running diagonally for about 6 inches. In addition, it has six cracks to the rim, most visible from the back. The cracks are from 8 mm to about 26 mm long. The smaller platter has lost its "ring".
