Portmeirion Botanic Garden Large 9 1/2" Serving Bowl Presenting a beautiful Portmeirion Serving Bowl from the Botanic Garden Collection. This bowl is in excellent used condition (t are a couple of tiny utensil marks when scrutinzed from a few inches away). This piece measures 9 1/2" across by 4 1/4" deep, perfect for salads, hot veggies, or pasta. The detail on the flowers, butterflies, moths, and dragonfly is incredible. Flowers on the outside of the bowl include Daisy, Cotton flower, Rhododendron, Ivy Leaved Cyclamen, Tricolor Viola, and a blue flower that I cannot identify. I cannot identify the flowers on the inside of the bowl, but they look a bit like Purple Coneflowers. Marked "The Botanic Garden circa 1818, Portmeirion, Susan Williams Ellis, Made in England, 1972" and "Dishwasher Proof, Oven to Table, Freezer & Microwave Safe". My Mother purchased this piece new around 1980 and it has rarely been used. She is downsizing her Portmeirion Collection, so is your chance to pick up some great pieces at a nice price. I have other Portmeirion items listed in separate auctions, so please take a look at my other items for sale. I'll happily combine shipping on multiple auction wins. Paypal preferred. Personal checks, cashier's checks, and money orders are welcome, but will delay shipping. Payment due within 7 days of auction close.
