This item is a MTHPremier Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Dash-9 Diesel Engine with Protosounds-1 (#20-2172). NEW/MINT condition, engine was removed from box for picture only and has never been run or tested since it was received from the manufacturer. It has had just one owner. Engine features include 2 precision flywheel equipped motors, all metal wheels and gears. Protosound electronic reverse unit, die-cast 4-wheel trucks, directional constant voltage headlights, lighted cab interior with cab engine figure, remote control protocouplers, and die-cast fuel tanks. Operates on O-31 and larger track. Per MTH recommendation, Protosounds-1 engines such as this one that have never been operated should have its battery charged or replaced before operation.
