A beautiful Preseli Bluestone trilithon which is made up of three completely separate Bluestones, hand polished to give a very tactile satiny finish. The total weight is 32g, and when assembled the height is about 53mm. We photograph every item individually , so the item that you see in the photo is the item you will receive. Your purchase from us is an ethical one - o ur Bluestone items are all handcrafted here in the Preseli Hills in West Wales by a single craftsman - our workshop is powered by wind and water alone. They are sent to you directly from this most magical and mysterious of places. Preseli Bluestone was used to construct the inner rings of Stonehenge. In its raw state the surface has a 'crust' formed as a result of several thousand years of weathering. When broken the inside has a characteristic spotting of white 'stars' - it is thought that the ancients were drawn to these stones partly because of the resemblance to the cosmos.
