100% Satisfaction Guaranteed on this unique vintage silver Priest Pectoral Cross with Chain from Jerusalem. The pectoral cross is a devotional pendant worn as a vestment by Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Bishops. This cross is made with pure 925 silver, decorated with two large rubies and has three smaller rubies which are set in the crown. It has hand painted enamel icon which shows Christ on the Cross. All details of the cross exactly follow the ancient Byzantium tradition.The cross was hand made circa 1950 and used to belong to a Greek Orthodox Bishop. It was sold at the private estate jewelry collection sale in Jerusalem.Measurements: 24.00" total length with chain doubled, 4.00"x1.6" cross. Larger stones measure 6mm, smaller are 2mm across. The length of the enamel cross is 1.25 and the the crown part measures 1". Perfect condition.
