Thanks for visiting my auction. I would like you to meet my rabbit doll, Beatrice. She is made from coffee stained muslin. Beatrice's face is colored with artists pencils and sealed. Her nose and mouth are embroidered and her ears are wired to be poseable. I used stained button thread for her whiskers. Beatrice is wearing a cotton fabric dress. Her pinafore and collar are pieces from an antique quilt, embellished with vintage buttons. Her bloomers are osnagburg fabric accented with prim stitching. Beatrice has needle sculpted paws. I tied a tag with a vintage rabbit image to the button of her pinafore. She has been generously sprinkled with cinnamon. Beatrice's sunflowers are made from handpainted muslin and are stained. They have wool centers and real branches for their stems. They are decorated with colorwashed cheesecloth for their leaves and sprinkled with cinnamon. Beatrice is carrying her flowers in a stained osnagburg bag that is stuffed with moss and tied with jute. Beatrice is 23" tall and her bag of sunflowers 12" tall. I hope you have enjoyed meeting her.
