These were used to help locate the cows when they were turned out to graze in a wooded or unfenced area.Very primitive with a wooden clapper .Has a nice high pitched ring. Very textured old looking surface with a very nice old metal patina. 6" high by 3" in diameter. 1-1/8" diameter rope ring for hanging around the cow's neck.In very good condition.Completely clean and ready to display.A very nice old looking piece!!
