A Late 19th Century c.1880 Primitive Noggin An unusual item, this was made by the United Indurated Fibre Company of Portland Maine. Made of fibre, it has the appearance of leather and the feel of wood. It is marked on the base with the companies name and the patent dates from the 1880's. It's in good condition with some surface scrapes and roughness to the bottom edge, but still very strong and sound.
