~babs~olde~thyme~dolls~ Primitive Witch Doll Holding "WICKED" Stick Banner Description This is a primitive style handmade, by myself, witch doll.I have named her Hettie Anne. She measures 39.5" tall. Her body is made from prim stained muslin.I have done her eyes with artists' pencils and hand painted her mouth. Her nose is needle sculpted & she has separate hand stitched eyelids.Hettie Anne's hair is authentic sheep's wool that I have needle felted into place. Her hat is made from prim stained spider web fabric with a prim stained cheesecloth band. The dress skirt is made from the same spider web fabric as the hat and her bodice is orange and black gingham fabric. I trimmed her neckline with olde fashioned tinsel garlands and added 2 tinsel buttons down the center of the bodice. In her arms is a prim stained muslin banner with hand painted WICKED in black. I used a stick from the yard to insert inside the banner for a handle.Wrapped around her hands to hold the banner is rusty wire.T is A Happy Halloween hang tag attached to her skirt. At the bottom of her skirt, I attached vintage crocheted lace. She is wearing a black netting slip. Her boots are painted black with rusty bells and pins down the centers. She has antique white stripes on her socks.Hettie Anne will come to you signed and dated from my smoke free home. Please feel free to email
