Elegent Grace Kelly, Her Royal Highness Princess of Monaco, November 12, 1929 - September 14, 1982. This 1994 limited edition and retired Franklin Mint Heirloomdoll is the first heirloom porcelain collector doll authorized by the Princess Grace Foundation to depict the world celebrated bride at her wedding. This handpainted doll is dressed in an exact replica of the wedding gown Grace Kellywore the day she married Prince Rainier III of Monaco – not only the gown, butthe headpiece, lace-edged veil, tiny faux pearl earrings and even her lilies ofthe valley bouquet. Doll is 17” tall. She has porcelain bisque head, upper body,arms, hands, and legs to just above the knee. The lower body is firm stuffedcotton. Arms move at shoulders, head, eyes and legs are fixed. Blonde wig hairis styled up for the occasion. Flowing wedding gown features a series of bows down theback. Under her wedding gown she is wearing bloomers and a petticoat decoratedwith tiny blue bows.
