Due to upsizing to ON30 I am selling my extensive collection of American prototype HO models, most are unused, and most are modern era, except for SD9's like this where the prototype has been been around since 1954 and is still in use by shortlines and even bigger railroads that need low speed heavy hauling power. This listing is for a Lifelike Proto 2000 EMD SD9 in Chessie paint scheme road #1840, box labelled "NO. 21240 Chessie #1840 SD9 w/o dynamic brake". The lettering and graphic on the side of the loco looks to be white in the photo, this is due to the camera flash, it is all dark blue as it should be.It has never been used and the extra detail parts have never been fitted, they are all intact in the box ready to be fitted. DCC ready with NMRA standard 8 pin socket. The box has some shelf wear.As I have had this for a long time I cannot describe it as new but its is unused to all intents and purposes. As it has been stored for a long time it may need lubrication and careful ruuning in. I will be listing loads more, including more Kato, Atlas and Proto 2000 locomotives, all modern diesels.
