A simply beautiful guitar in crazy, unmarked condition, finished in Black Slate with natural edge binding and black back (the photos simply don't do it justice) and fitted with a wide, thin neck. The unused strap, guitar lead and set of strings are included. I have owned and cared for this guitar from new and have decided to sell it in order to help finance the purchase of a PRS private stock instrument. To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, PRS offered the PRS Custom 24 guitar with special features such as shadow bird inlays, anniversary headstock eagle, bound rosewood fretboard, 57/08 pickups and a gorgeous carved flamed maple "10" top. Standard features of this historic PRS guitar included a mahogany back and sides, natural maple body binding, a 25" scale length, nickel hardware, Phase II low-mass locking tuners and the patented PRS tremolo bridge. The 25th Anniversary PRS Custom 24 guitar is loaded with 57/08 pickups, finished in brushed gold, that allow players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. PRS obtained the rights to the original pickup wire used in the most revered pickups in the 50's in 2008, and 1957 was the year the humbucker was first commercially available, giving rise to the 1957/2008 name.
