QAJAR PERSIAN LACQUER MACHE PEN BOX & INKWELL A 19th century lacquer mache pen box. The box is decorated with Christion scenes, a building and a printed portrait on the top center. The ground colour is an olive green with gold flecks and the borders are all painted with scrolling gold design. The interior has a removeable pewter inkwell. The box measures 8 1/2" long. the condition is good overall with some wear on the opening edges with a bit of paint loss.
