Antique Luncheon Plate from an 1851 Dinner Servicepossibly Ironstone, Pink Lustre and transfer Made in Staffordshire, EnglandFor Queen Victoria and Prince AlbertOne of the best loved and longest reigning Monarchs of England and The British Commonwealth, continuing to reign until 1901. This 150 year old 8 3/4" Dinner/Luncheon plate is decorated with hand painted blue chain, and pink lustre swirls/curls and dots. The center pink transfer pattern depicts a very young Victoria in a crowned arm chair and Albert standing. The colors are still intense and pretty. In excellent condition, with no damages. It does have some very very faint tiny crazing on the underside, but hard to find. Exact manufacturer is unknown. This piece is a real treasure. A true find for the serious collector.
