Up for sale are these old Murphy Valve radio parts from an old 1960s radio. The radio was NOT in working condition and I had no idea what the problem was with it. After stripping it down i have taken out these parts in the hope that somebody out there can make use of them. There was a fuse on one of the soldered boards which had been blown, but again i'm not sure if that was the core problem or indeed if there were any others. So, these parts are untried and untested but as you can see from the pictures there are mechanical parts that may interest the radio restorer. I can not say either way if the valves work, but the complicated labyrinth of wire and plates in each one seems intact without any melted points. The speaker WAS totally intact but unfortunately i made a very small tear appear in the speaker front skin (see picture) due in part to my clumsiness and of course, the fragility of the paper. I'm not sure if this can be fixed but it's better that I mention it now rather than explain it when it's in your possession. If there are any questions please ask and i'll do my best to answer them.
