This beautifully crafted covered casserole holder is Pre-owned but it very good condition. It cleans up easily with good silver cream polish, with very little effort. The finish is free of damaged areas, that do not recover when polished. The remove bible ovenproof glass liner is made by Anchor Hocking in the Fire King brand, So it is able to withstand oven cooking before being transferred to the silver plated casserole stand with its cover for serving from the table. The handles on the stand and the cover are ornate and heavy enough to make picking up the casserole easy and safe. This is a choice vintage piece of liver plate that has been kept well. Itbisca rare find these days. The unit itself weighs five pounds, which attests to its sturdiness and quality. It was made to last, and it has.
