This "aluminum" token, issued for use in Ramey Air Force Base in the 1940s, is listed (#615) as R (Rare) in Fumero's Merchant Tokens of Puerto Rico catalog.Fumero wrote on page 232 of his Merchant Tokens of Puerto Rico catalog:Ramey Air Force Base was built in 1939 by the US Army Air Corps on the northwest quadrant of the Island of Puerto Rico in the area known as Punta Borinquen in Aguadilla.
