ANTIQUE DRESDEN GERMANY HP LUSTER GOLD GILT BIRD VASE Fresh From a Fabulous South Florida Estate! No Reserve, Ever! Antique Dresden Germany Luster Finish Rare Bird Vase. Unusually shaped. Domed lid. Front features handsomely dressed wood grouse perched on a tree, with a warn luster glaze. Dowitcher in flight seen on the adjacent side against a white ground, with similar luster glaze. A soft lavender pink purple ground with a warm luster forms the lower ground, around the vase, with foliage in the foreground. Lid boasts similar dowitcher bird in flight amongst branches and leaves. Rich gold colored bands with mini beading around the rim of lid, around mouth of vase and base ring. Matching rich gold seen on either handle. Rich gold band around the mid base with raised floral motif seen 4 times around. Highly decorative vase. Visually pleasing. Signed: Dresden with Sheep. Gold colored rose. Measures: 11 3/4 " in height, 6 1/4 " across in length. Condition: Very Good. Repair seen on the handles on one side. with a chip on the other side - same handle.
