Description The unusual decoration of this rare Chinese export porcelain plate consists of a large central chrysanthemum flower. This central flower is surrounded by two bands with additional chrysanthemum flowers and leaves. The overall appearance of this plate is superb. The same can be said for the fine white porcelain. The plate is an excellent example of the high quality wares produced during the reign of the Chinese emperor Kangxi (1662-1722). The reverse of the plate is decorated with two attractive flower branches and is marked with a double-fish symbol within two concentric circles. Diameter about 8.25 inches. Age Kangxi, ca. 1700. Guaranteed over 250 years old. Condition Virtually perfect, with only some small original firing flaws.
