A rare 2 3/4" round makeup compact from the 1936 TEXAS CENTENNIAL EXPOSITION. Front is black lettering on blue base; back has a star and centennial lettering branded into wood. Blue front reads : " TEXAS CENTENNIAL EXPOSITION (steer head, star, flag logo) / 1836 - 1936 ". Wood back reads below star logo : " 1836 TEXAS CENTENNIAL 1936 ". Condition : Very nice condition, has a few areas of wear on the front (see photo), wood back is perfect, opens and closes easily, mirror is intact, makeup is used up.
