Rare Antique Salesman's Sample - Barn Doors with Labels
Prescott's Door Hangers - Two Different Versions Very rare salesman's samples for a sliding barn door company. T are many, many things listed on eBay as being salesman's samples, but few are. These are not only real, but have the original labels. They were made by Prescott's Manufacturing Co. based in Boston in the 1880's. One of the doors is complete and functional and one is missing just a single panel, but the mechanism still works. The smaller of the two is the one missing the panel. The larger is approx. 12 3/4" high x 18" wide and the smaller is 10 1/2" wide by 13 1/2" high. I am not an expert in this area so please feel free to ask questions. These are fresh to the market and were discovered in Western New York State. Selling with NO RESERVE.
