Up for auction you are bidding on a Rare Chinese Silver Enamel Bell. This equisite Chinese Silver Bell stands 4 1/8" tall and the diameter of the bell is 2 7/8". At the top of this beauty is a Chinese Man and the bottom is decorated in wonderful Butterflies. All the colors in this buety are bright. It is stamped on the underside of the bell and it reads "CHINA". T is small fle areas on the man that is missing enamel but it just gives it more patina like to me.. But still not enough to take away from its value. Chinese silver bells may have a copper cast to them in some areas or just a plain old area of copper area due to how they were alloyed. The highest percentage of their metal content is silver giving the silver color and if yoy were to test , it would come up with the highest percentage of silver. The Chinese did use copper, nickel and zinc. This unusual antique Chinese Bell is a great find. Please view all my pictures before bidding. I will answer any emails with concerns. I ship to U.S.A.
