If I remember right the Imperial Damascus tanto came out in the early 1990's and was a limited run. 11 1/4" o.a.l., 5 3/4" blade marked COLD STEEL JAPAN Other isde marked IMPERIAL TANTO 0130 (The serial # 0130 is hard to see in the pics,one pic shows it clear the other pics have a shadow from my pic taking). Stainless steel damascus blade,steel steel butt and guard,ray skin with a cord wrap over. Black leather sheath marked JAPAN on the back. Certifacate of authenticity.The pic of COA will tell you in more deatil how the blade was forged. Comes with display stand,purple silk bag,and sash cord. Never used or sharpened. The last time I had owned one of these was in 2003 and this is the same one.I sold it to a buddy of mine and he sold it to another buddy of mine who has owned it since Summer 2003 and I bought it again this week. Blade has a few scratches from what I think would be from going in and out of sheath.I know it was never used. The scratches are mostly on the edge w it is etched. Hard to rate because of the light marks but will say Ex.-Near Mint Condition Most would rate at Near Mint-Mint ,but I'm just trying to be upfront and honest so t are no problems.
