This is a very UNIQUE Czech planter / jardiniere / vase / basket with a sweet bird perched on the rim! It has crisp, colorful paint and glaze, great mold detail and no chips. cracks or repairs. T are not even any paint rubs or flakes... amazing for its age. It stands 6 1/8" tall and is 7" by 4" across the basket. It has the red circle dime mark. The bird is very sweet.... It even has a ruff around the back of its head! The rose in the cartouche is a transfer print and some of the colors are air brushed. A very interesting and unique piece!!!! The Czech Collectors Association is holding its 8th Annual Convention in St. Catharines, Ontario on May 17-20. The Convention will highlight a Show and Sale, 5 very knowledgeable speakers and a first rate experience in the Niagara Peninsula and Niagara Falls, Canada!
